Default Clutch problem….HELP !

I have a stuck clutch (may be ?) it started with the car’s was seeming to start to fad, I was driving and then it was hard to shift into gear got it home, master cylinder is dry (not leaking ) reservoir was full. So I replaced the slave cylinder, but now the I can not get the car into gear at all ! if the car is running, with the car off it shifts fine. It was suggested (by my brother) but the car in gear and try hitting the starter with the clutch depressed, and it lurched forward. So thoughts, ideas, and or suggestions would be appreciated.

You must have posted in the wrong forum. This is the 356 forum and we have mechanical clutches.

You may have a 356 motor but you do not have a 356 transmission. Heck even 1989 911s still used a cable operated clutch. The last year of 356 production was 1965. I have 2 9165 356C's Both have mechanical clutch.

My point is that Porsche 356s did NOT have hydraulic clutches so we 356 owners probably can't help you. Yes you can get a hydraulic clutch in a Beck 550 Spyder but few of us own one. Try a Beck forum. Heck we couldn't even help a Porsche 550 Spyder owner and yes the original 550 spyder had a hydraulic clutch.
