My mirror is corroded and looks bad. Got one from Stoodard but its a cheap Chinese knock off. I would rather have the old one.

Anyone know of a vendor other than stoddard for a mirror?

Pat, there are lots of classifieds on the Registry continuously (although I just searched for "Ponto" and no listings. You can also post a "Wanted" listing in the classifieds (instead for a for sale listing).

You can also set up a permanent search on ebay and you will get notified quickly when a match comes up. You would have to be careful in your search description to try to eliminate repro stuff.

Also, call Jim at EASY (http://easypor.com/), he might have one and if not probably could give you some tips on who to call. (Great guy!)

If the corrosion is not too deep, and it is original equipment, can't you have it stripped down & re-plated at a local Chrome shop?

Same one as stoddard. In the pic it looks great till you get your hands on it and realize its half the weight.

I talked to a chrome guy in Delray and would have gone to see him if not for Matthew taking over here. Im going to rechrome and do my luggage rack at the same time.
