Post 356B Exhaust Tips

I have a 356B Super90 that i have driven 20,000mi since i bought it in 1996. In the spares i purchased with the car were chrome exhaust tips which go through the bumper guards. I am now (after 18 years!) trying to install them but i can't figure out how they are supposed to work. Their diameter is larger than the curved pipes coming out of the muffler. And without a ton of force fitting, i don't see how they can be pushed through the bumper guards.

Does anyone have any experience or insight with this?

Thanks in advance for your help--Augie Grasis

This is the exact exhaust I had on my 1964sc in 1973. I'm thinking of placing on my 61 for that special sound and a hair more pop when taking off. Any thoughts?

Coming from Holland. The only place I could find for nos exhaust from ansa.
