Default Restored 356 C Coupe, value?

Hi all, I'm trying to help a relative possibly sell this car, any idea of ball-park value?

It's a '64 356 C Coupe completely restored, down to every nut and bolt, and has spent all its years here in California.

The original engine was replaced with a rebuilt SC engine at the time of the restoration. It really wakes the car up!

Less than 2000 miles since the restoration, which was 18 years ago.

Exterior silver, interior willow green with darker accents, colors do not match the (included) CoA.

Reutter body.

Perfect paint, perfect body, perfect interior, perfect engine. Not a speck of rust. Was shown when it was first restored and won several 1st place ribbons in local shows (Morro Bay).

Well, there she is, ball-park values?

Thanks!

Andy

Ya, I hear you, but sorry, I don't have any pics as of now. Perhaps soon.

Just imagine a perfect, gleaming little silver 356 C. No scratches, no dents, no pits, no nothing. With less than 2000 miles (approx. 100 miles/year) since the down-to-the-bare-chassis restoration as I described it above, and that's what may possibly be for sale soon.

Obviously it was not restored to "factory original" condition as the engine is an SC and the exterior and interior colors are different from original. (Original exterior was Champagne Yellow and the original interior was black.)

There's gotta be a ball-park figure, right?

60K? 90K? 120K?

Thanks!

Andy

He'd be lucky to get 60k. Probably a very nice car though. Color change and non original motor are the culprits.

Thanks, yeah, it's a little jewel. Looks like it's been preserved in a time-machine. Not a stain on the carpet, not a stitch out of place on the seats, you could eat off the engine.

Oh yeah, it's got a factory sunroof, if that means anything...

A shame on the paint and engine.

Here is a paint correct, non-sunroof, asking $59K on 356 registry.
Gorgeously restored and finished in factory-correct Ruby Red with Sand Beige interior and powered by a strong running 1,600cc engine, this fabulous 356 C is a treat for both the eyes and the senses. This car is well sorted and has just arrived from Monterey, California.

Jim, thanks. Does it say how many miles are on the car since restoration?

No miles stated but it is a beauty. Though, no sunroof.
