Default I'm not a 356-guy, is this as cool as I think it is?

This was at Hershey last weekend. The owner claimed it was a barn find on which he had down minimal repairs on his part (necessary engine and electrical work, as I recall) and installed a set of drop spindles. Overall, the car was fabulously tatty inside and out, but the motor sounded great. Driven down from Ontario for the meet (plate: "BARNFYND").

You guys are the experts; what are your thoughts?

Its very cool. Restoration Design mfg's replacement panels for 356s and other Porsches. I have bought panels and talked to the owner of the car. It was for sale last year but it looks like he is using it for promotional services now.

Still for sale. I heard he was asking into the low $40s.

He told me it wasn't for sale when I asked about it. That is a very reasonable price IMHO.

I'll second this opinion...despite the "Badboy" appearance, it looks rock solid...

Well, my info is second-hand, and I don't even remember to whom I was talking.

Very cool! Not sure why this calls to me so much, maybe its just the romanticism of a barn find! Great thread! Cheers, --H
