The 550 with the blue upholstery - replica - engine is a type one with a custom shroud the Valve covers are made by a guy in Vancouver the body has a crown over the dash to accommodate the 356 windshield - the battery is sitting where the oil tank was originally. Air cleaners - really nice. There is one distributor not the two that are driven by the cams (one on each side) there is only one valve cover. Windshield wipers. The speedster windshield was offered by the factory but rarely ordered. Fuel pumps in the left scuttle are correct. Fuel cap is pretty correct. The reinforcements for the hood release wrench are fake. Upholstery and shifter are very good. Fusebox on the drivers wheel well is correct. The drum brakes are amazing! Very nice Beck -- actually as the owner of the #55 in this thread I am more than a little envious and humbled.

Ok those points may be valid it's an original serial number car ...I guess that's a repro too?
The owner admitted it's been in a fire and some components aren't original to the car..
