You probably can't see the link because the sales mart on Rennlist is open to members of Rennlist only I think, and not to "users."
Price is $52K

Here's the narrative from the sale ad (for those who can't transfer).
This car belongs to a 45-year member of PCA. Ed has owned this car since early 1965 when he bought it from the local VW dealer, Gary Van Wyk, in Santa Barbara. He's nearly 80 and decided it was time to retire from active driving of his Porsches.
His log books (extensive detail) reflect a car that has been very well maintained, but rarely driven as the years go on.. The car presently has around 136,000 miles on it. He hasn't driven it for the last couple of years at all. I can say that it drives very well, with excellent transmission action, and a strong engine. I will determine if the engine and body numbers match, but nothing I have seen so far in the log books would indicate otherwise.
The log book he maintains on the car includes every cent spent on the car, including fuel, etc. He's a retired economist--so money is his thing. Over the years he has calculated his cost per mile. I think you get the idea.
The car body was repainted to the original Ruby Red in 1986 by Project Design in Santa Barbara. At that time a very mild Outlaw treatment was done to the car--the deletion of the hood handle and crest, and the rear Porsche and model designation. These were welded up. Also, the horn grills have been removed. The paint work is probably 90%--excellent, but not quite concourse. The car rides on fresh Michelin tires, mounted on 6x15 Fuchs alloys that are in quite nice condition. Ed loved to autocross and so the car has competition belts in it by TRW. (Perhaps 2-3 minor stone chips--the car's paintwork is post autocross days).
Electronics. I have not dug too far into some things but discovered that the horn doesn't work. I think it's a simple fix. The battery was replaced by myself when I first undertook selling the car for Ed.
Engine mechanicals. The engine looks great and from the service records, got whatever it needed WHEN it needed it. I have driven the car about 40 miles and found that it drives very nicely--far better than one would expect from a 46 year old car. Remarkable. I now better understand how Porsche quickly established such a reputation for handling.
Transmission. It performs perfectly, in selecting all gears. The clutch seems to be correctly adjusted and there is no slippage.
Interior Condition. The car comes with black vinyl interior along with the Ruby Red painted dash. Carpets are the usual Porsche black/grey along with red.
Tools. The tool kit is complete in the trunk, along with a Pirelli Cinturato CN36 spare tire. On the outside you'll find a proper period Talbot mirror on the driver's door. Inside, you'll find two add-on Porsche headrests, since the original seats did not come with such an arrangement until the 1970s.
Beneath the car there is no evidence of accidents. There are no bent under panels. There does not appear to be any serious or even modest rust issues, although one can expect that there could be some surface rust in a few isolated places. The car had been a true driver most of its life, and that life has included being kept in a garage with his other cars. Brakes work very well and appear to be as well maintained as the rest of the car.
Lastly, I have the original keys to this car! Two ignition, and one from the glovebox. When's the last time an original key ever stayed with an old Porsche?
You may contact me for further deals. Dan Lindsay, Edgy01@aol.com; 805 964-5020 (home) 805 452-5797 (mobile). We're asking $52,000.
Now for some pictures to give an idea of what is for sale.

Dan - if you are serious about selling this, you really ought to put an ad in the classifieds on the 356 Registry website - lots of relevant traffic there, almost none here. www.porsche356registry.org
You do not have to be a Registry member to register on the forum and there is no cost. You might also like to skim through the for sale listings for some value data. (I think your original price was way on the high side, now seems to be more in line though I don't really know for sure.)
Great looking car BTW! You should buy it!
