If you're interested in this type of 356 I know of a '59 Convertible D that is more rare that I'm sure the owner will take similar money for, might be worth checking out.

looks pretty nice (KYBs are cheap shocks though - should have Konis or Bilsteins), but I'd get a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) performed by a 356 expert. here's another in CA... a red '61;

There is one big advantage with the car I referred to, it is already in the Netherlands! I'll check the 356 registry forum as well.

Ok, I see I saw the dealership was in California so I assumed you may want to import a car to the Netherlands. A lot of people are taking cars back to Europe now taking advantage of the exchange rate.
