Jim Clark logo question

Famous scottish F1 driver Jim Clark prior to joining Lotus raced a 356A. On the drivers side fender close to the A pillar he featured a logo (emblem) of a knight on a charger. I have been looking for the bit map or clear image of this emblem for quite some time with no success. Does anyone know where I could find this image in a reproducible form? Thanks in advance for your reply.

that car has been featured in UK Porsche magazines - I think it was recently restored. I'd search those articles & find out where the car is located - also maybe via a UK 356 club or vintage racing group. Here's a model that displays the image...

I've had this model saved on my computer for quite a while but as you can see the image is less than small. I'll keep searching. I might contact the museum in Duns. Thanks for forwarding the model picture.

Vol 24, Issue #5 (Jan-Feb '01) of the 356 Registry magazine has a feature article on the car, written by Erik Severeid. Jesse Alexander's "Porsche Moments '53-'62" has a photo of the car - not sure if that emblem is visible or how well. you might also contact the model mfr... they should have photos & there may be some leads within: http://www.britishnews.co.uk/news/clarkporsche.htm

It was the logo of the Border Reivers Racing team; a google search will give you a ton of information on the historical significance of the original Border Reivers during the 13th-16th centuries. I'm sure if you contact the Jim Clark Museum you can get an image. Google Border Reivers Racing team for much more information, they were around for a good bit.
