Can't tell you about those tires, BUT there has been a lot of discussion on the 356 Registry about tires and it is pretty much universally considered dangerous to drive on tires more than 5 or so years old no matter how "nice" they look, as they can fall apart from age.

Jim is absolutley right.
So, when was the last time ANYBODY made tube-type tires for sports cars - decades?
Some people like to put old OEM spec tires on their concours 356s for show - like Michelin X or Dunlops (made in England!) - completely dry-rotted, nice looking, impressive... & deadly.
Beware.

i am not looking to use these tires for driving the car. The car has been stored for over 30 years. I am wondering if the tires can be dated from the letters and numbers on tire.
