Default 1962 T-6B 356 Coupe Driver For Sale

Hello All--

The time has come to part with "Mr. Tub", my 1962 356 Coupe #118808. Champagne Yellow/Black. Originally Bali Blue/Red. I have the COA from Porsche. 1958 "Normal" motor installed, though it pulls stronger than some S90s I have driven. She will run at 80 all day long.

This car is a driver in the truest sense of the word. It is no garage queen, it is not perfect, the interior is trimmed in slightly incorrect vinyl though it looks good, no tears, etc etc. Runs like a champ and I would not hesitate to take it on a 500 Mile trip tomorrow. Heater works, wipers work, lights work, Radio works, everything works except the clock.

The reason I am selling is because honestly I don't drive it enough. I have a 1988 911 Cab and a Daily Driver 1991 M5, and the 356 doesn't get enough exercise. I'd like to pass it on to someone who can enjoy it more thoroughly than I can at this time. I will likely sell my M5 and get a 993, so I'm replacing the M5 and 356 with a 993 in all likelihood.

Price: $23,000. I will post more pictures when I can. I'm not in a hurry, I don't need to sell the car, and I'd rather not sell to a flipper; I just don't drive it as much as I would like so I wanted to put it up here and on the Registry to see if the car can find another enthusiast home. If you want to come look at the car I am going to try to have it stationed at Northeast Foreign Car in Norcross, GA [Pat Collins is my mechanic for those who know him]. PM me for more details or if you have any questions. If you are looking for a driver 356 coupe that you can get in, turn the key, and enjoy, this is the one for you. If you want a restoration candidate, perfect, numbers-matching car [all panels match, motor obviously does not], this is not for you. It is an honest driver, and a great first 356 to get into the spirit of driving and enjoying Porsche's first creation with his own name on it.

Hello,
I have been searching over past 6 mo. for anither p-car (either a early 911 or 356 ) to sit next to the 993. Your car looks very nice and do like the color combo. Distance is an issue me being in so-cal. can you send or post additional photos and p.m. me your phone # so we can talk a little more in detail. Thanks, Jeff

As long as it doesn't need floorpans, rockers or doors, I think thats a pretty darn nice car for that kind of money. Should sell quick, Good Luck!

More pics from the shop today. The tub is getting an oil change, valve adjustment, brakes adjusted and a yearly service completed right now.

No issues with the solidity of the rockers, longitudinals, doors, etc, etc. It's a great driver, and I'm glad there is a decent amount of interest because I really love the car. I drove it the 10 miles to work and to the shop today at ~80MPH and it ran like a top. The pictures were taken right as I got to the shop and pulled in.

SOLD

Locally to a fellow pCar fanatic. P.S--I posted on Craigslist, had never used it before, and had the car sold within 36 hours of posting it. Just an FYI for anyone looking to sell a car--it's a great tool!
