Hi All,
I find I can't go too many years without another 356, but I haven't kept up with prices in the last few years because I sold my last one back then.
Edit * (I figured out this link is worthless without photos, so just added them, see below) but here goes:
61 Aetna Blue Coupe, no sunroof, 1600 Super, but engine from the 1962 series. Original interior, including carpet and headliner, but worn a bit too much to save. Very solid without rust, chrome and trim decent, no wreck history, runs out as it should, wrong (too wide) chrome wheels, wrong exhaust, 110,000 miles, paint is presentable but not of high quality. Might have some tools and extra bits, but no real records to speak of. Hood has not been bent. Car has a genuine look to it, other than wheels and exhaust.
This car is fairly local to me, so no real shipping costs.
What kind of money can I spend without getting hurt? My thought is to use it to drive for fun, correct some things, maybe do the interior shortly. I'm a sucker for Aetna Blue.
Thanks, Jeff

Thanks, vracer, for jumping in. You didn't have the benefit of photos, so I've been able to get them and have added a link. Thanks, Jeff

Thanks guys for your thoughts and input. I called the seller and told him I was not going to buy it- too many other projects and too little time right now. I think he's got somebody else lined up to buy, so no harm to him either. He was asking in the 20's so your thinking jived with his. Jeff
