yeah, really, I think the 356 community got past it around '62.

Pretty simple: TOYOTA or TOY-OAT. If someone asks if its a Porsch I just say its a "TOY-OAT"...hope fully they will respond "ahh" got it.

Speaking of correctly prnouncing car names, the '97 Caterham, of which I am the proud owner, is pronounced Kay-trum, per the british gent who sold it to me.

I was watching Jay Leno earlier this week and even Jay says...."PORSH"

He was talking about the Porsche factory and never once said it correct. Come on Jay, your a car guy!

Por-Huh???
Don't think it matters to the family as long as they keep on selling the cars and they keep on making the big $$$$
