OMG a Rometsch!!!!!! id give my you know what for one of those.. thats about as rare as you can get . Thats the 1st time i have seen one for sale in a loooong time

Wow, Karman Ghia meets Studebaker. Clearly built on a VW pan. I'm not criticizing, I've NEVER seen or heard of this car before, which shocks me somewhat...... I'm well aware of the Beutler cars but not this. Very interesting and rare indeed... apparently :-)

There were a few different Coachbuilders that used VW Chassis, Beutler, Rometsch, Dannenhauer and Stauss, Hebmuller, Denzel, etc. Normally they seem to trade hands behind closed doors from collector to collector, much like the racing Porsches or very early cars. Seeing on on ebay is certainly a very bizarre occurance. The bidding is hot so far...curious to see where it lands.
