Default Just got my Certificate of Authenticity

A few surprises, engine doesn't match, color doesn't match, interior doesn't match despite color codes on the ID tags.

The bad news: The 1960 B cab. Super-90 red/black is not a Super-90 just a super.

Fortunately: The engine serial number is for a 1960 Super-90.

The good news: Silver with a green interior is pretty rare and probably much more desirable than red/black.

Requests: Does any one know of a 356B cab/roadster in this combination? It would be really nice to see a photo/s

I'm fairly new to 356s so any comments or suggestions are welcomed.

Point of clarification-actual engine super-90 vs. original build COA specifies "super"

You might look at the member's cars photos at www.356registry.org, might find a silver/green there.

Your car looks great - please post more pictures when you get a chance!

Don't sweat the small stuff. Enjoy the car, it looks very nice. Some parts of the 356 world and Porsche world are too hung up on matching numbers. It actually started with the Corvette people.
If I ever catch anyone bending over to check if my wheels have matching date codes...

Original is nice, I don't like to see cars with added chrome, or non period modifications. It's you car and the most important thing is for you to enjoy it, drive it, and be proud of what you have.

Default Have not found Silver/Green int.

Just checked the 356 registry no open cars with this combo. I love the car and drive it ASAP. The Super-90 motor is fantastic. The original colors are pretty interesting. Most silver open 356s have red or black interiors. The current Red is nice..... but if it ever gets painted again Silver/green would really stand out.

Here are a couple more photos:
