Default 1963 356 Rocker Removal

Hey Folks,

I am in the process of removing all the exterior trim to get my 1963 356 ready for paint and was wondering how to get the body side molding off, or the rocker molding. Do I have to remove the black rubber insert between the chrome, or does the whole piece come off.

Any help would be appreaciated.

Thanks,

Randy

Hi Randy,

The whole thing will come off by undoing the bolts from behind. Try to clean the bolts from backside before you do any attempts to undo them. 'Cause if they start to rotate inside the moulding, then you're in trouble and have to trash the whole moulding. It's not chrome, it's aluminium.

Cheers
Sven
