Default starting a restore soon --- finally!

Ran into a local restorer I've been trying to get in touch with for a while yesterday at Home Depot.

I've seen a VW Bug and a Karmann Ghia he & his partner have done, they are sweet. And he's finishing a local 356 now, and has one more coming in a few weeks...

So we were talking about my 356 and getting it done, and it looks like his outfit may be good for me (I still have one other in town to check out and one down in S. Florida too)... hopefully I may have something going in the next few weeks!

Thanks Guys!!

Buy the Calendar and you'll get to see the entire picture and the 356 in the background
I did take a few pictures in the 356, but it just didn't look "right"
Doesnt' everyone drive their 993 like that??

JoAnne, the 356 pictures thread is so much fun. The early to mid 60s models are my favorites. What year is Helga? What year is your favorite?

Sorry Laura.... Was busy with the calendar and stuff

Helga was a 1965 356C. She was a fun car, but my very favorite 356's are the PreA's and the A cars. the last Pre A's were in 1955 and we had two of those one was Max our Continental Coupe Outlaw and the other was our Speedster which is now owned by Nick Cage. The A's were built from 1956 thru 1958. Our current 356 is Gunter and he's a '58. You'll see me posing with him in the WOR Calendar

Out of all our 356's I'd have to say that Max was my very favorite car. I miss him EVERY DAY. He was that special to me.
