Can any of you guys more knowledgeable with the 356 market give me some indication of where this car should be priced? I looked at the car, and to my eye it looked in decent enough condition, motor is non-numbers matching but body looked solid. Asking is 89K. Thanks.

I wouldn't think of bidding on this car until I had a comprehensive, independent ppi performed.

I agree - ask them to pull the auction based on an independent ppi. At this asking price, no need to rush into something.

I have not been following the 356 market lately, but a good example could get to this $$$ easily...

According to my "C" database, this car was for sale @ Showroomclassics (San Jose - CA) in 03/2004...same color, interior and engine...by the way, this engine # is period correct for the car...are you sure it's not matching #s?

I'll second Ked's advice...get a good shop for a PPI...
