AWESOME!
But why would a period correct garage have a rusty and thrashed speedster of the same vintage?

Wilco!

What a wonderful rendition of all our dreams. For a moment we are all children again ...

Thank you so much. The macro/micro photographs are superb. The details are stunning. You are quite a creative artist.

"C.S.I." did a whole story-arc (several episodes) about somebody just like you who built very detailed minatures.
Well, he wasn't "just like you." He was a serial killer. But, he made cool, amazingly appointed scenes, too. Awesome work!

^^
The power of popular culture. My first thought was "where's the body?"

My second was "Wow, that's great."

Holy smokes, great job! You scratch-built all of the garage equipment? Now that's patience and talent. I build a few dioramas for work on Operational Analysis scenarios we're working on for Armored Fighting Vehicles, but fortunately Tamiya builds about anything in 1/35th scale I need as a kit.

I think he meant the garage and not everything in the garage. A lot of the garage equipment is bought in a kit or from doll house suppliers and painted and decaled how ever you want it... like the air bottles, the tool chest the big oil cans and the little oil cans etc. Now the paper towel dispenser, the various hoses and outlets, some of the shelving units etc. that is all built by hand. It's quite a job and he's very very good at it.

I know Robert spends hours and hours and HOURS on building things from scratch that you can't get ready made in kit form for his Dioramas. It takes lots of patience and really GOOD EYES!

Hi

RJT is right the tools are from Fujimi (garage and tools) but the garage it's self is scratch build.

the tools on the picture can be bought as a kit (fujimi)
