Well today while driving way out in no mans land I cam across a 1964 356SC sitting in some guys field. Car is rough, no doubt. Floor boards are gone, not sure about frame condition, slight rust in differant area's on car inside and out, interior bad, has a motor, I will just go as far and say it would need a complete restore job. I did not bother to ask if numbers match or history of car. I am just wondering if I was serious what would be fair to pay for it. Thanks, Mike

Is it a coupe? Makes a huge difference. If its a coupe, you probably should steer clear, as it sounds like the restoration costs will greatly exceed what its worth when its done.

This one costs me three hundred bucks. A little high for these parts, but it's a genuine SC.

No matter how good the buy in, you'll spend another twenty grand to restore it. Best to buy a car that's all done.
