I was going to buy a 356 replica (black w/tan int, 2200 VW engine, built in 89' with 5600 Km). But my 928 bill is adding up. So if anyone is interested I will gige you his phone #. He is asking $12k for it.

is this the average going price for these things? Damn a vw engine? for 12 large, you would think that even a replica has a porsche engine. (I know but still )

I've thought about a 550 replica myself. I wonder if a '59 normal engine, and a 912 transaxle would fit well together into one of these? These two items I have. But I still need to spend the funds on my 356A. So, no replica for me, yet.....
