Hi:
I just received a poster entitled "Pit Stop" showing the 3rd place finishing 550 Spyder at the 1958 LeMans 24 Hour Race undergoing a pit stop to change the left front brake drum. In the upper right hand corner of the photo a gentleman is speaking to someone who appears to be the driver of the Spyder. Can anyone tell me who the driver is? Thank you.

To answer my own question the driver is Jean Behra. Hans Herrmann was the co- driver. Interesting the car is not a 550 as advertised by the many various suppliers of the poster but a 718 RSK. For anyone interested the car finished 3rd overall (ist in class) and is still around, or at least it was. A fellow enthusiast sent a photo of the car at the Monterey Historics in 1991.
