I see it like this, most 912 owners want more power. The only way to get real gains is to build a vintage race type engine, high compression, high strung, no low end torque and short engine life. Or you can take my approach and add modern technology to a 50's era design. All of the drivability problems are eliminated, you get more power and reliability for less cost. Sounds good to me.
