Thanks for all the suggestions Pedro and Ked. My dad got this from an old friend to pay off a debt and wasnt sure what to ask for it. I appreciate you enlightening me on the engine and offering suggestions for sites to advertise it on.

Thanks again!

Hi Ryan...always a pleasure to talk 356...as I said...the 356 talklist over the Internet might be the better starting point to market your engine...try to gather as much "specifics" as possible regarding the engine and its history...the talklist is free and you don't need to be a 356registry member in order to subscribe...just go to 356registry.org and follow the link on the home page...you'll be in touch with over 2000 enthusiasts all over the world...good luck!

Ryan, All the info I've provided is very general in nature - not applying to the value of a specific engine. That can only be established by an eyes (& hands) on appraisal & an explicit offer (by someone who can close the deal) to buy THAT motor. In other words, essentially, I have no idea what the value for YOUR engine is. It isn't fair to quote what I've provided to a prospect, unless you also give them this disclaimer. good luck.
