Keep looking. It isn't obvious until I tell you. Then you see it every time.

No. That's not it. Those are 5.5" rims though. And 195's. And, Rico, don't give them any hints. I know you know.

OK...horn grilles are missing...front turn lights are not from a B car...probably pre-A...the front "Porsche" script is not original for a 1961 car as well...is that it???

Looks nice - congrats! I have a 60 B T5 Coupe - what's your VIN? Maybe ours are close. Mine is 113088.

Anxiously awaiting your response about what's different. I see a lot of little things as mentioned, no reflectors ... ??? But I bet you are referring to the shortened hood handle!

V8 joke is very funny. Its the horn grills. Only through careful research (looking at old period pictures) did I discover this was a popular 356 modification. Some owners did this to "update" the look. Now I have to have it undone.
All the other points mentioned are valid as well. Good eyes in this group!

Hey JLC...

I've seen a V-8 cammed into the backside of a 911 and IT IS VERY FUNNY!!! A German / American car

Enjoy your 356 in good health

Also, it looks like the "handle" on the front trunk is the earlier style.
