Default How to run a Carfax on 356

When I try to run the SN it says I need 17 numbers. How do we run these low SN's.
Thanks

You don't. Get someone who knows 'em and have a good PPI done. There is a list of people who do them on the 356 Registry website, or post here and maybe someone in the area of the car can do it for you.

you can search dedicated 356 VIN databases on the 356 Registry, but you must be a member. there is another db, http://www.356a.com/ that you can also try. the format & content is not like a carfax.

Carfax is for 1981 and up cars only! If you are talking abaut a 356C, I have a huge database and might find the one you are talking about...

You can also try Eric Cherneff's site @ http://www.356a.com/ Type vin or engine number and cross your fingers...you might find previous owners and that's it...
