Concours #1. Snowmass Village.....................

Here are just a few pictures to start. Tomorrow we leave for Steamboat Springs in three groups and we'll all be driving over Independence Pass.I'm using my new lap top and I didn't have time to load Photoshop so I'm utililizing the cruddy photo editing program that came with it. I'm sorry.........

Jo - Looks like you're having bunches of fun! Nice looking B coupe. Do you remember if the upholstery in the green cab / speedster (can't tell) is vinyl or leather? (Looks nice.) Already getting the bug to replace carpet and upholstery someday.

That is a C cab and it's black leather. BEAUTIFUL car!!

We are having fun. There will be more cars in Steamboat Springs since there were many folks who din't / couldn't take the whole week off.

Jo

PS: The B coupe was great!! I took a bunch of pictures of it. The interior was different, and you know us, we love different.... LOL

We have just arrived in Steamboat Springs and there are many more 356's showing up here than were in Snowmass for the first part of the event. Maybe I'll find "your car" somewhere

Steve,
Thanks for the offer. I won't be posting all the pictures, just selecting a few here and there. I didn't take any shots at all today. Robert and I chose not to follow the 356's up. The Sheraton we are now all staying at has underground parking so I won't be taking any shots until the car show on Saturday in downtown Steamboat. I guess it is fortunate that the cars are now in covered parkingsince we are expecting rain tonight and MAYBE even snow Saturday night at the 10,000 ft. elevation.

OH BOY!!!

Jo - take lots of pics on Saturday!! Hope you and Robert keep having mucho fun!

Rick - the German Auto Fest is this weekend in Ventura, California. There are usually quite a few 356's for sale there. What are you looking for (sorry, I'm too busy/lazy to search right now)? I'll keep an eye open.

We Just got back from the banquet. Usually the food is bad at hotels, but it was surprisingly good tonight. Porsche AG sent their new Club Coordinator to the event and she is really nice and you fellas would like her because she is easy on the eyes too . She came bearing a slew of great door prizes. Nice to see Porsche get back into recognizing the folks with the older cars too

It's sort of raining off and on right now. Showers tomorrow are a possibility and that's okay as long as it happens in the afternoon. Rain would ruin the Funkhana set for in the morning.

Jo
