Default GT style gas cap and assembly info needed

I'm beginning to sort out the front under-hood area on my '55 and just unearthed the gas tank. It's in pretty terrific condition, no rust at all and still in the galvanized finish, so I'm going to use it. I want to put one of the GT style gas caps through a hole in the front lid.

Does anyone know where to get the "kit" to do this? Does the new taller filler neck braze or weld onto the tank or does it use a rubber collar and clamps? Do you alter the original big filler cap or is a new one included? Do they make a kit like this for the Pre-A cars?

Any help or answers would be a BIG help, I LOVE the GT look but don't really know where to go from here!

Thanks ! !

GT Werk has all the parts you need.
I have ordered many parts from them for my 911R and
Spyder replicas.
