Gmund West 2006
I spoke with Sharon Mabee several months ago. The date in 2006 is June 25th.
I attended the 2004 event and it was fabu! I will be going to the 2006 event and driving my new to me Boxster from Minneapolis....
That said the event is way loaded with Porsches, early cars from Bill Jackson to George Maybee's tractors. In 2004 he Registry board held one of its meetings in Denver to coincide with this event and there were PCNA reps there as well. Seems silly for a one day event but one thing is sure. You will overdose! I'm bringing an art piece to set up on display if I can figure out how to get it and the clean socks I need to bring to fit in the car. Mike Jekot

Hi Mike,
we plan on being there too! 2004 was an awesome event, and this year we're air-cooled (I sold my 951 for a 993). We met so many nice folks, and the cars & tractors on display were incredible.

There is to be a contingent of Sharks there as well, and I plan to attend. I doubt I'll use all the cab space in Rosy. Caravan? Meet up and shift the art to a more spacious compartment??? I plan to leave Columbus, Ohio, Wednesday morning, and be in Denver Thursday afternoon/evening. And I'd heard the festivities are 25-27? This might only relate to the Shark event end of things, I'm not entirely conversant with all of the facts...
While my plan is to do I-70 all the way to Denver, I 'spose I could detour a little north, and go across I-80 to Cheyenne, or where ever, then drop to I-70 and Denver....
