When I was relocated to Norway, compliments of the US Military, in 1992 my wife was forced to sell our beautiful '68 912 softwindow Targa. I was in Japan at the time. When we returned to Camp Lejeune in 1995 we saw the Porsche in a junkyard completely trashed and painted in a wierd maroon from the original yellow. The guy Fran sold it to was a big BS'er who told her how much he loved Porsches and what great care he was going to take care of the car. I could have puked when we saw how much he cared for it. As I said, sh@# happens.
