Default Aluminium alloy deck lid name badge

Hi

Not sure if any of your 356 guys may have come accross a similar problem as your badges are similar.

I have the 2 piece badge for a Porshe 912 which is made out of Aluminium Alloy. These badges are hard to get hold of and is the correct one for my 1966.

Can anyone tell me where to get it re-plated in the UK or even US as I am in Jersey, UK and will have to post it anyway.

It has been sprayed black and I want it to have the polished finish, I think the best way is to have it plated?

All help appreciated.

Thanks
Rob

Its been mentioned several times on 356 Talk that the best way to have the scripts re-plated in "gold" is to talk to the local Lexus dealer... apparently they have a process for updating the standard trim to gold trim.
