speaking of which.. saw the allman brothers last week. they just keep getting better and better, and although its sad to see them with out Dickie, they have a great replacement with Derrick Trucks. And the cd of the show makes for excellent driving music. (I'll have to Bring it for robert to listen to in november). i have a feeling ill have that and a few cds of dead concerts with me for the drive to solvang this year

Hi Harry...I was a kid in the 70s and I had two main influences to really appreciate Rock&Roll...Allman Brothers playing the songs from "Beginnings" (1973 I guess) and Eric Clapton performing "I shot the Sheriff"...well, they did not play Led Zeppelin in Brazil back there...took me while to find out about them...

Sorry for the lack of 356 content... ;- )

356 content?? What's a 356????

"I shot the Sheriff, but I did not shot the deputy"........... LOVED that song!!!

Harry, That is going to be a looong hot drive for you. I hope it cools down some before you leave. It's even hot in Solvang!

Speaking of Hot, I hope it's not this hot when the Speedster, which we BTW named Gretchen (German for Little Pearl), gets here. We want to be able to drive her without sweating up a pool of water in the interior!!!!

Congrats Robert & JoAnne!

You'll have to have an open house for the club when you get the new baby home.

Hi JoAnne...just out of curiosity...Gretchen was a famous singer/dancer in Brazil back in the early 80s, her "thing" was to sing wearing tiny bikinis and shaking her "money maker"...there's a revival nowadays and she's a huge success again after two decades...now she's 55 and still profiting from her "Derriere"...Gretchens are great fighters!!! ;- )

I'm totally out of context today! I have to blame last night's Cosmopolitans...

Yikes, sorry I even joked about it. I remember your story about when you first moved to Arkansas and they thought for sure you were drug dealers. I thought it was funny. What's with Home Depot, or otherwise known as my weekend office, I spend so much time there.
