My little "collection" finally reunited ! Though the middle one is getting to be redundant these days. I might sell it... You gotta drive'em to keep 'em sharp and I don't have enough time for 2 "weekend toys". And the 356 wins that battle ;-)

Tell you what - since I am such a nice guy that I will promise to drive that poor little 911 (912?) enough to keep it sharp. I know, I know......but I insist, I really don't mind! Just let me know when I can come pick it up.

I thought the Boxster Was for your wife?If that is so, then you really don't have a problem owning the 356 and the 911. Drive one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Your wife will drive the Boxster. Keep em all!!!

Hi Greg...I love the erarly 911s...I'd ask for price but I just got a 993 Cab...maybe my first sign of mid-life crises! ;- )
Not as much fun as the 356 but the AC blows cold and the engine is an invitation to a ticket...I'm looking forward to get back to 356 ownership in 2006 though.
Take care...

That 911 is no gift... I've had it in and out of the shop for 6 months after buying it, before getting it back 2 days ago! As I found out from the mechanic, it was wrecked in the nose way back when, and it is made of the ***-end of a 73.5 CIS T and as a result of the crunch, much of the nose of a 72S ! not all but a nice chunk! Not a huge deal in itself if the job was done well - which it seems to have been - after all, some people "make" a 356 around a Vin plate.... but it means that the car will never be worth much money (because I am honest and just disclosed this on a public website for posterity) and I am sinking money into it fast ;-(
Not sure if I should stop, cut my losses, or what. It's running pretty well now, maybe I should use it as a commuter forever, it'll still be worth the exact same amount with 100K extra miles! Learn to paint cars, stuff like that. On the other hand, if one day the motoe blows up, all I got is a $20000 tranny (sweet shifting, but...). Dilemma.....
