Yup, it's time for the 356 Club's Danan Point Concours this Sunday. Robert and I will be there since we will be delivering Max to his new owner on Saturday evening just so he can show it on Sunday. He bought the trailer too so we promised him to try anyway. We are leaving tomorrow of So. Cal.

the 912 registry will be well represented there. they always have a good 912 showing and Pete Mcnulty has been kind enough to give us our own parking spot for display purposes.

this is one of the shows i always wished to go to. ill be going on a month long road trip on the 26th.. a few weeks late of being able to see this one. i will be at the historics and pebble beach though

(and i will go through strugis on the way home)


since i wont be driving cross country next year, maybe i can fly out to dana point next year?

Where is it being held??? Dana Point is a big area!! Also what time?

We are STUCK in Amarillo!!!!! We are waiting for the GMC Dealer to figure out what is going on with the Computer softwear on our truck. We were driving along and it went into 2 low on it's own 95 miles out of Amarillo! Not a good thing when you are towing!!!!

Anyway, we'll be there (Dana Point) even if we have to trade the truck in on a brand new one to get there (and ours is only 7 months old)........

The show is at Lantern Park overlooking Dana Point Harbor.

Hope to get out of Texas today!!!!!!!

I am TRYING to get there, but my flight through Dallas was cancelled due to weather yesterday. Looking forward to seeing & showing a friend's "new" Roadster, meeting many 356 owner- enthusiasts, examining many Porsches, visiting w/ my brother (356 owner since '68), getting a break from humidity & hurricanes, etc. Good Luck & Safe Travels.

We are still at the dealership in Amarillo and it's now
11:30am. They have ordered parts and think they can fix it enough to get to California where we will have to have a new "Brain" installed to fix the problem once and for all. I'm thinking we should go get another hotel room and sleep until 5:00 tonight and then drive all night and get as far as we can in 12 hours. This is so maddening. The dealership is really nice, people are nice and trying their best to get us on the road........................................ Speedster is bored and we are sooooooo tired. I think when we get to San Pedro we'll sleep for a couple of days!

oh man.. murphy is really out and about this month this month..

first he gets a randle goodman (you know the 912er from OKC) several times at the parade, and now murphy's got his grips on your truck

i hope this is the worst of it and you guys get back on the road quick.

Yup, Murphy is very busy

We are still at the dealership and now it's 1:10pm. Flagstaff looks like a pipedream and to deliver the car on Saturday afternoon, we had to make it to at lease Flagstaff tonight.

The new "module" is in and now the car is up on the lift. I think Robert is going to hav them try to disconnecet the 4 wheel drive from the computer so we can GO!! THe guys here are so nice. They are trying their best to get us on the road SAFELY.............

Very nice event. Great venue and they even had a Porsche tractor pulling around a trailer load full of kids. Nice ride back to the Temecula wineries via Hwy 74 too.
