Ooh, ohh, wait.... the rear panel upholstery has a sort of wave/bubble on it... Wait, let me dig some more... it has 3 point belts (Ok, you said that's an outlaw).. No, that's it.... Looks prefect... Down to the headliner ! Damn (again) - you 2 sure have a nose for nice cars, first Max now this ! Wanna sell the 993 ? ;-)

That sure makes me want to go and redo my interior... Not cheap these days...

Greg D...
I noticed the wave/bubble in the picture, but it's not there when you actually look at the seat with the naked (oh yeah!!!!) eye. Strange huh??? Go ahead, splurge and redo the interior. This is new and smells so good!!!!

Freddy...
It is a great color combo isn't it . Somehow this Ivory looks a little darker than Porsche Ivory. It's almost a buttercream color. That's okay. It is an Outlaw after all....

Cupcar #12.....
John Willhoit just finished the interior including the red dash. It matches perfetly the Porsche red leather color. Sort of a lipstick Red color. Kinda cool, don't you think?

Wes and Johan ...
Yup it does look cool, but only for a while.....

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PJ, This will be going on late into the night for the next 5 days!!!! I think we should look into buying stock in Bounty paper towels and Johnson and Johnson (Q-Tips)!!!!!

Juan, if you are serious just PM me and I'll keep you in mind. We come across nice 356's from time to time.

For Max and Gunter

Nice cars, nice cars. Why do ships/boats/real hurricanes and my cars all have female names and you are named after guys? (Ruby 64C ((my Karmen coupe)); FRANCZS ((wifes '91 911 cab)); '55 Speedster yet unchristened, any suggestions?) Is there some kind of rule here? By the way, I'm a retired "hit man," compliments of the USMC!

Most of our cars have always had female names unless they were really BAAAAAD looking. Since Max and Gunter are Outlaws, we decided on male names. It just seems appropriate for these cars.

Retired "Hit Man"??? Wow we have a bunch of troublemakers hanging out on the 356 board. Hit Men, Bank Robbers, Drug Smugglers, Moonshine Makers, does anyone (Other than Steve Jensen) have a real job??? You have to have a good sense humor if you own a 356.......

I wouldn't call workign in education a "real" job... shorts and T-shirt unless it is chilly out, 2-3 weeks off paid between fall and spring semesters, spring break off, plus all the state employee time off, etc. Not to mention the eye candy walking around half dressed...

do you have a ü on your keyboard?

In Germany he would be Günter and probably a bit sensitive if you didn't pronounce it "Guenter"
Just make the u sound a bit longer, more like goon-ter.

Good work JoAnne. The Concours thing is not for me though. I entered Dad's 964 last year in the Zone 8 AZ concours. It scored well, but it was tons of work. They nailed me for little stuff that I never imagined they would check!

I know I have told you about the owner of the car next to me. His T-shirt read "Is there a hyphen between **** and retentive?" Love it.

Nope no u with two dots over it on my keyboard
I worked with a Goon-ter from Germany. That is sort of who we named the car after. He was a kick in the pants, just like this car is.
Anyway..... I was the only one in the entire office that called him Goon-ter, everyone else called him Gunth-her. As if calling him by the proper pronunciation of his name was arrogant or something. May be I was being snotty calling him by his real name Goon-ter since I owned Porsche's and all..... Gunter and I would get a kick out of it all. He'd get a kick out of knowing we named a car after him. I miss him..........

Steve.... Shame on you drooling over all that young eye candy

PJ.... yup they love to nail you for the little stuff and lots of that little stuff is on the underside of the engine. THat is what we are both working on later tonight. I took my nail polish off and am sure I'll have to have gels put on before the parade because mine will be a tremendous mess. What we women sacrifice for the love of our cars
