Default Numerology....

Do you guys believe in numerology? Well I just bought a grand piano and the serial number on it ends with "356"! I guess the piano was the 356 in my future! Hope not. Still dreaming of the 356 that will be in my garage.

I guess since Pedro's Dolphin has sold, I can come out and say that Pedro graciously offered the Dolphin to me first. And I appreciated that, but it kind of took me off gaurd and couldn't committ and didn't want Pedro to hold up his sale so reluctantly declined. But made a good cyber friend with Pedro so all wasn't lost.

Hopefully I'll get my 356 before Pedro get's his itch again!

Hang in there Guy. I have a feeling you will find one soon. There's a really clean C in California right now. It's a Willhoit car so it has to be perfect (as the price reflects). He also has a Mild Outlaw...........

Hey Norb...get a Cab...you already have two coupes! A guy just listed a Roadster over the 356talklist "to die for"...$49k...bad timing for me...otherwise, I'd go for it!!!

I agree with you as far as the Willhoit's cars...extremely overpriced...both of them...with due respect to John Willhoit's reputation of course...

Take care...

Helga is at Willhoit's right now getting the once over.....

John is expensive, but you can take his cars right on over to a White Glove Concours and win. They are almost 100% of the time perfect, better than from the factory...... If they are not, he will tell you up front and the price will reflect that. Like you said he has a great reputation and you have to pay for that. I'd love to have a Willhoit car

What Roadster are you talking about. Did I miss something on 356talk???

It's the POST purchase inspection

She's having her windshield rubber replaced (we bought it from John this past winter and never found someone we could trust to install it correctly in Arkansas) and one of the bumperette's is slightly loose and the hood gap was a little off AND almost forgot, the inside of the hood was painted black and it should be painted red. That's all that we know of. John is a perfectionist so there may be more on his list depending on whether or not Keith wants it more "Original" or not. As for the engine, he can't possible find any fault there. It was so strong that Robert had second thoughts about selling the car.... Helga likes to GOOOOOO!!!!!!

that car has been advertised for awhile on the sportscar trader. from the prior ad i assumed that it would be in concourse shape given the price. from the ebay ad it appears to need interior work. imo, there's no way that price makes sense. maybe for a concours sc sunroof.
