Default 1965 356C Dolphin grey/blue for sale

I already posted this notice at the 356 registry talklist and I'm listing here as well to reach the people who don't like the format there...

1965 356C Coupe
Price: $26K
Color: Dolphin grey (6410) - re-spray of original color.
Interior: Blue leatherette / bluish grey carpet w/ blue piping (original - excellent 40 years old)
Miles: 93,600 (unverified)
Engine: 716513 (original) - Rebuilt 8,000 miles ago by Al Zim (1,720 cc)
Tranny: 84575 (original) - Rebuilt 6,000 miles ago - smooooth

Almost 100% unmolested original...no bondo...no sign of accidents...rust free body...no mechanical issues...clean original undercarriage...every numbers match according to Certificate of Authenticity.

For interested parties I have a 3 page document, in word format, full of information about the car and 136 pictures to e-mail or the same pictures on my Kodak photo album for the ones with a dial up. Contact me direct at:
pedro@importstones.com

PS. I'm listing this car exclusively for the "Porsche 356 world"... not locally, eBay or any other Internet site...hence I don't need to deal with tire kickers, car flippers or Nigerian agents... : )

I saw the car @ the collier FOG event. It is nice and as advertised...

Price wise, I wish I had kept my 65C too ! I had no idea they were gonna go up like that ! Hell... Sorry to hear you're selling Pedro ! I sold my C and 3 month later caved in and bought an A !! ;-)

Thanks for your words Greg...hard decision my friend...great day in FL today, as you know! I drove the car all day long and it looks like a conspiracy...I have never get so many attention and compliments as today...thousands of "Nice car" and even a "Sexy car" in South Beach while having lunch!

Take care...

I'd like to state this sale pending until next week, as the guy who is interested in the car will be flying from Belgium this weekend to see the car; and I have to respect his efforts...I was glad to know he is friends with one of the 356Talklist's regulars and he has no Nigerian agent for me to deal with. : )

Thanks...and I'll update the result next week...

Those dang Euro's with their high exchange rates! They're buying everything up! Great to hear Pedro. To bad its going to Europe though. It'll be hard for you to buy it back!

Default It's not the euros

It's not the Euro, it's the dollar - The euro is not appreciating versus any other currency, really. The dollar however is in the toilet, and for that, one can only blame the politicians ! It's not all that bad actually, makes imports more expensive and favors US exports ! The war does not help either...

As for the car, well, it's kinda sorta going back home, or close ! But I do agree that Pedro will regret it - unless that new business venture turns out to be a giant success - which I hope it does - and he can afford to buy back 10 356s to replace this one! When I sold mine, it took me 3 months to realize I had made a bonehead move and I went in search of another ;-)

As long as it's not a clone ;-) Actually I'm kidding, I would not mind mind a Beck myself !!!
And I am seriously considering putting those seats in my 356 !

The weather is still great and I'm keeping Flipper's juices flowing...
