Default Need input on a car dolly and/or rotisserie

Alright, I have not one, but two 356's to restore now and I need a device to allow me to take the running gear out and still be able to move the car around. I also need something to make it easier to work on the bottom of the car. I don't mind building something a little more elaborate, since I have at least two cars to rebuild, but I need advice on what works best.

I am leaning towards the rotisserie but some feel that it puts undue stress on the body, especially while cutting cancerouse portions out. In that case, I'm guessing just a tall stand/dolly would allow me to get underneath it with plenty of room but keep the body in it's natural orientation.

So, tell me what you used, and point me to any plans/pictures of devices that fit my needs. TIA!

(Listening carefully), wow - I can actually hear crickets...............

So yeah, I am now on the 356Talk list - guess we'll see how that goes. Maybe I can drag some of those people kicking and screaming over here and liven up this forum. I made the switch, so can they!

Daniel...

I just thought of something. Steve Jansen has a archive of all the 356talk emails. Maybe he can post his web site info here so you can search for an answer in the archives. I know they have discussed this exact same thing on 356tlalk before at length. Hope this helps....
