Harry......
Mr. Wilco has inspired me for some time now! He takes his Dio's to a step or two (or four) higher than mine. Skill, patience, and above all, imagination are the keys to building such amazing works of art.

Congratulations Wilco, and also, welcome to Rennlist! Please do not be a stranger here. A friend that owns Alfa's was here yesterday, and I showed him your website. He went nuts seeing the detail you put into your work. Bravo!

Harry, there are different methods that can make stuff look old. "Dry brushing" is a technique using a mixture of paints like rust and other shades of brown. I have a small bottle of thinner that I use to clean my brushes in. Down in the bottom of the bottle, there is a good 1/4 inch of "sludge" that I will scoop out and apply to various pieces that need to look very old. It works for me!
