I can tell you for sure that it wasn't being delivered to us, however we sure wouldn't mind owning one

They are asking $128,500.00 for it. Actually that is a very resonable price for that car.

Not too many guys still around who know how to work on the Four Cam engines anymore....

Thanks for posting the Pics

Since they were hauling it away it might have sold.....
It had some rust down low below the doors, and below the antannae, and the previous body work was less than perfect, but it does have 4 cams.....

I saw some rust on the lip under the front bonnet and who knows about the battery tray. Still the asking price was reasonable. Who ever thought that we'd be saying that $128,500.00 a 356 would be reasonable

JoAnne

PS: Too Late... you are OBSESSED!!!!!!

Just PLEASE! DON'T tell me that truck got hung up on a set of tracks somewhere....
Those hills in the background look awfully familiar......
A very pretty, interesting car! Even if it has rust. Thanks for sharing the pics!

That 4-cam exhaust and valence sure are low to the ground. My driveway is too steep for that car, it would scrape badly every time (I can barely avoid scraping my Bursch exhaust). Now if that were the only reason I didn't own that Carrera 2 I would be happy...

Barry my friend...this "Stone grey" paint is as shinny as it gets! As far as the Carrera 2...it's definitely my dream car...I don't have a "too steep" driveway...but that other reason...

Barry....Great car! And welcome to Rennlist.....you too Pedro!
I came very close this past week buying a Stone Grey Conv D from European Collectibles. But I passed mainly because there's just no more room right now.
It sold immediately after I declined, I had the first right of refusal.
Would love to see some more detailed pics of your D......pleeeeze?

Robert
