Default Fog trip to the Collier Collection: pictures from outside

We were not allowed to take pictures inside, so those are outside cars only...
The collection is mind blowing... My favs were the Dan Gurney Eagle F1 car from the 60s (recently features in R&T), seing the 550 coupe buck, 356 SL, 917s, spyders galore, beautiful old Delahayes, you name it... the man has taste !!!

Now from the outside:

Line of Cs; KPR's is in the foreground in a lovely Slate grey !

Some Bs:

The closest my car will ever get to a trophy:

The token speedsters (kidding), there just to make sure us Coupé guys never win best of show, ever:

Land Speed record holder in its class:

Early As lineup: Mine's the green one - looks great from 20ft ;-)

Beautiful GT: I loved the seats

Hotel Parking lot looked very tub'ish:

Greg,

Thanks for posting pics. Looks like Vince did a great job and there was a large turnout.

Can you tell us more about the land speed record holding 356?

It was featured in a past issue of Excellence or 911& Porsche world. Can't remember exactly, so don't quote me on this, but I think he's ran it in the 1500cc class and he's the world record holder at 145 mph !

It's pretty wacky inside too, I'll see if I can post more photos. The funniest thing is it won the "oldest" car award, it's a 51, I think !
Found'em, here goes:

Great pics Greg!
The inside was fantastic.
Too bad no cameras were allowed.
I remember going there 10 years ago
and many vistors were taking photos.
