Default Tire Pressure

I'm looking for recommendations on tire pressure on a normal 356a. Any suggestions beyond the owner's manual?

My 65 C coupe was a little squirrley on the highway with a pressure that low. I run at 30 psi front and 32 rear usign Michelin (sp?) XZX tires.

My friend has a 356c, and can't find what the right tyre pressures should be. So, it looks like I've come to the right place. Not sure what tyres he's on, but 25psi seemed a bit low to me. They did come back from a service with 18psi.
Got to be around the thirty mark? I'll have a look at the tyre make.
Cheers

OK, factory pressures are (I assume that your car is fitted with 165 x 15 radials mounted on 4.5" x 15" wheels):
For town & country roads - 1.6 BAR (23 psi) Front; 1.8 BAR (26 psi) Rear
For Freeway (high speed) - 1.8 BAR (26 psi) Front; 2.0 BAR (29 psi) Rear

In Los Angeles we set all our customer cars to 26F, 29R - never had a complaint.
