Lock up your toolkits people! At today's prices they probably belong in a safe and not your car. Yikes!

 

I don't carry my tool kits in my cars, plus their tools are not all that useable anyway. I keep them wrapped up and put away in a "to go box", that is where I keep all of the rare and special documents and accessories, quick to grab in case that we have to evacuate due to a wildfire.

 

Smart move. I was lugging mine around in the 356 for awhile, but not after I saw those prices on Bring A Trailer. I wouldn't be able to afford to replace them if they were lost or stolen.

 

I don't know if you are interested, there will be a new 356 Breakfast starting in January 20th. 8:30 am at Michael's at Shoreline GolfCourse in Sunnyvale Every 3rd Saturday, should draw a fair sized group. Just show up

cars with smaller batteries will get the tool box next to the battery. bigger batteries the tool box will be inside glove box.

battery size is determined by where you live, if you live in an colder climate you will get an bigger battery.

ie, ppl in UK, Canada will get bigger battery, but in Australia and New Zealand where its warmer we get the small 40AH one.
