Default timing w/ an -022 dizzy

I have an -022 dizzy on a '61B motor. I have set the static timing at TDC, but I am seeing close to 37 degrees at 3400rpm. Does this sound correct? It doesn't ping, and it pulls well off of idle. Thoughts?

With todays gas, the maximum is 32-33 degrees, static timing originally was set at 5 degrees BTDC, however as years go by the parts wear and the springs get weaker so the advance may not be accurate. Rebuilding sometimes require that the limiting pins repaired to limit the advance to 28 degrees. I have found some errors in the timing lights, as to high speed advance readings. I found a listing of measurements for advance from TDC, in "chord". straight line from 0 degrees to outer rim in mm. 5- 6.3, 30 - 37.5, 32- 40.0, 34- 42.4, 35- 43.6, 36 -44.8

I'm seeing right at 36-37 at 3000 rpm, with static timing set at 0 TDC. I've got a vjr4br18 that I'm going to swap and see what happens.
