Great selection - help !
Hi !
I have recently acquired a ‘63 356B Cabriolet........engine has just been rebuilt and is running beautifully.
However, I am having trouble selecting gears.
Forgive me if this sounds dumb, but they all seem very close together and it feels like a lottery as to which one I get. Sometimes when I want 1st I get reverse. And other times it feels like 3rd.
When I am moving off it is easier to select 1st, but when on the move it’s v difficult to select the right gear. Any gear. Very frustrating.
I only took delivery of it yesterday, so it may be that I just need to get used to it.
Also, I’m in Ireland so used to driving right-had-drive cars - the car I purchased is from California. My right hand is not used to changing gear !
Any thoughts, or advice, much appreciated !
Many thanks.

Sorry, can't imagine what it would be like trying to shift left handed....
I would imagine it will take some time to feel "Normal", but to be sure there is no issue with the car have someone that is familiar with 356's take you for a drive in it.
