The front Porsche script on my A is old and faded. I looked at a lot of replacements on catalogs but they seem to be for the rear deck. I cannot find any mention of one of these being fit for the front of the car, jsut number of pins and size. Has anyone replaced theirs ?
Which one did you use ?
Greg.....You need the 5 stud, 8 1/2" long emblem. One source is Performance Products, their part # is 905307....$54.95. I think Tweeks can get them but are usually "out of stock" for EVEYTHING I've ever wanted.
Other sources, at least they used to be, are www.fibersteel.com and www.gtwerk.com NLA is a really good source for 356 parts 775-626-7800 ask for Brad.
Hope this helps
thanks! it doe shelp, I just ordered it. Without the price or description I would have not managed it ! When you enter the part# it still shows you a dozen emblems !!! ;-) thanks a lot....
The Lexus standard trim is silver/chrome, but they have a "gold trim" option. Someone asks for it, their guy comes out and re-does the electroplating or something like that. We've talked about it on the 356talk list before....
no.. chrome, nicle plated.. anything is better than the flat black i have now.
also i did get a second set of hirn grills from partsheaven for $10.
i told em i intended to hack em up to do the horn ggrill mounted driving lights, so dont worry about the condition... well.. they didnt! chrome.. none left.. pits.. too many. i dont know if i can even sand em down and paint with silver metalic theyre that bad
