I have a cousin in Santa Barbara, California that wants to sell here husband's 1959 356 Cabriolet (long story short, he has suffered a disability that left him mentaly disabled). I have no idea whether or not #s match or if there is rust. I do know the car is driveable. I will attempt to attach a photo. I have more photos available. I hope there is someone on the board that can steer me in the right direction with advice and resources.

Get a fair evaluation/PPI from someone who knows these old cars (www.356registry.org - there is a list of people willing to do inspections on the site), and then you can either decide to keep it and restore it, or sell it. If you decide to sell it, whoever does the inspection can give you an idea as to worth.
