1965 356C Red/Black in Austin Powers "Goldmember"
Does anyone have information about the red 356C in Austin Powers "Goldmember"? It has a Karmann body #221124 and motor #716404. It is oringinally from California, but spent some time in Arizona, and is now in Florida. It is titled as a '65 but according to Schrager in "Porsche 356", the numbers indicate that it is a '64. I'm interested in purchasing the car, but would like to know a little more about its history.
