Since the trip to Porsches 2 Oxford i have been itching for another roadtrip.

I was thinking we could gather a bunch of Porsche guys (bring your p-car ), meet somewhere in Indiana and have a nice drive down to Taj Ma Garaj.
I spoke to John at the Taj and he is willing to open his doors and give us a nice tour. We just need to come up with a date and i will call him 2 weeks ahead. I know the 944fest is this weekend but maybe Saturday August 26th? If that doesn't work let me know what day would work for you guys, i really would like alot of cars to be able to show, the drive there is be half the fun.

Since I've been there, I could meet up with you guys and lead you there.

(I imagine a lot of folks are heading for the 'Fest about now and might not see this........we'll have to bump this up when they get back....)

 

Im in, I am free that weekend and would love to see his collection...Im sure alot of the OH guys could meet up and lead us in. Even if they have been before we could all still grab a bite and B.S...

Hey, where is the Taj? I looked around on the site, but couldn't find an address- maybe I'm just blind. I might be up for it, and my wife's sore that she can't make it to the fest, so this might be a good one for us.

 

Sounds like a great idea. I will have to see if there is anything going on that weekend that I don't know about yet!

 

August 26th isnt a definate date yet, i just wanted to throw a date out and see who would bite If it works for everyone great! If not then lets set a date when everyone could make it.

Id be willing to help lead the charge too if Wade wants to lead the caravan. Maybe OH/IN border or something? I never get tired of going down to the Taj and fabricating a chub. If theres no car show that weekend, count me tentatively in.

Looks like hes moved much of his inventory back into the main area too. I havent seen a number of those cars in quite some time.

I can spend as much time looking at the memorabilia and window stickers.

I talked with Sam about this at the fest. I would love to, but wouldn't be able to bring my car. I have some serious issues that needs sorted.

 

No problem, either catch a ride with someone or bring another car.
Whats the issues with the car?

 

Not exactly sure.. the inside of the front tires are wearing like crazy. Don't know whats causing it, doc boost looked at it and the toe is fine. Could be chamber thou.
