Cool Thank you/Powder coating

Well, Jake 928, I decided to take your advice. Not saying everyone wasn't helpful, but your man was the closest, and I like nice people. N&W on Fairfax/Pico was really helpful, and nice. Now if I could only find a place that does powder coating, or painting of the valve covers/manifolds while I have them off. Does anybody know of a place around the LAX area?

If you need help or want some powdercoating done, email me marc@goimi.com. We have done over fifteen 928 "jobs" now and know a thing or two about it.

Marc did my GT's intake, valve covers and misc. stuff two years ago. Still look great.

Aloha JV:

Yep, mine still looks like it did over three years ago. Brand stinking new.

How are you anyway?

Man I'm new to the web forum action...I'm too old fashioned I guess, like the email list a bit better.

Old dogs and all...

Thanks for the note, see ya!

That's a fine howdoyado, Mr. White.

Want to make fun of the furniture and draperies too while you're here ?

Feel free to stop in more often - we actually discuss 928 stuff.

Yes I understand. But I have to fuss and gripe otherwise you guys might think I know how to use computers (or have the time---much worse!).

OK, 928 content. Nice fix to Struthers this weekend to keep his ride on the road...drilling the thermostat. Heck I think it made it home this way. Love that, and the other wire and tape fixes that sometimes come up with any car.

I'll check in every now and then.

Marc White: How much do your guys charge for powder coating the valve covers, and how much for the intake?

FYI - this is an old topic from 2002.

Carl - I doubt that Angelo will see your post. His last visit here was back in March, 2003.
